How Do I Get My Sword Back? - Guild Wars Forums

Well i joined a guild and then i had a really good sword that did 15-22 damage and gave me 27 life! then my guildy said he didn't believe a sword could be so good and give so much extra life and he told me if i let him use it he would give me 100 of the k's after he was done with the sword. but he didnt give me anything, not even my sword! how can i get my sword and the 100 k's back? it took me sooooo long to find 60 k's to buy a 27 life grip to put on my maximum damage sword that costed another 35 k's from my other guild member! i need help!

Then you shouldn't have given it to him. Never should you let people borrow your items. Your fault that you was scammed.
35k for a clean sword is a rip off.
60k for a +27 health upgrade is bizzare.
Unfortunatly, Anet cannot do anything about lost items. They have no way of knowing if people where actually scammed.

You got Scamed BAD sry to say he will not give u ur sword or 100k back do u have pics of the trade and his saying this and do u have his name and guild so they can get banned for LIFE? if u do u should take the pics and send them in the suopprt on guildwars.com and btw u pay to much for a sword

First off you got scammed when you bought a +27 fortitude mod for 60K
second you gave him the sword freely.
all max swords do 15-22
it will be your word against his if you report it.
sorry to say but take it as an expensive lesson in human nature.

You got scammed plain and simple. Both by your guildie and whoever sold you the sword and pommel. A max sword with no added mods shouldn't cost you that much to begin with and you shouldn't have paid more than 1-2k tops for a +27 hp pommel. You got ripped off waaay bad. Bad news is there is absolutely nothing that can be done about this, unless you just so happened to take screenshots, in which case you still won't get your sword or "K's"(whatever a K is, gold mayhaps?) back but the other person might get a temp ban but again you need screenshots to back up your claim. The good news is that now you know not to let people borrow your in game stuff and that you can get an equal sword for alot cheaper.

Most of us have been scammed in one way or another in this game at some point. Yes it sucks but both the scammer and scamee are at fault especially in this case. Think about your interactions and transactions and double check what you're doing every time. Just consider it a learning experience. With any luck you won't fall for something like this again.

This has to be a joke. 60k for a +27 'life' sword upgrade, he promised '100 of the k's'... my god. You do know a K means 1000, not just in guildwars, right? No offence intended to you, but its inexperienced players like this who give scammers their chance to strike.

u really got f***ed badly my poor friend... read the forums in the future about prices for items or it will happen again. i feel sorry for you, its not nice being scammed like that, but when money is involved (even if its only a game) people turn into assholes without a concience...
